Lead Times That Are Actually Honest

Samples: 3–5 days (DHL/FedEx express) by express. Stock orders: 7–10 days. Private label: 15–20 days for 500+ pcs. Any factory quoting 48-hour dispatch on private label is relabeling existing stock, not producing for you — decide if that matters to your brand.

The QC Questions That Reveal a Real Factory

• "Which physical head units do you bench-test this module against?" — a factory names the actual units (CIC, NBT EVO ID6, NTG5.0…); a trader says "all BMWs".
• "Show me the batch test record for my PO." — real factories retain samples and test logs per batch.
• "What firmware version ships, and how do updates reach my customers?" — OTA or USB update paths should exist.
• "What fails most in the field, and what is your RMA rate?" — honest factories quote 1–3% and explain their top failure mode.
